Are you looking for a fun-filled adventure with family and friends? Look no further than Everland, one of South Korea's most popular amusement parks. With over 40 attractions and a rich history, Everland offers something for everyone. From thrilling roller coasters to captivating shows and animal exhibits, there is never a dull moment at Everland. History of Everland Everland first opened its gates in 1976 as "Jayeon Nongwon," which translates to "Natural Farm." The park was initially an educational facility designed to showcase various aspects of agriculture and farming. Visitors could see and learn about crops, livestock, and traditional Korean farming methods. However, with the addition of an amusement park section in 1978, Everland quickly became a popular tourist destination. The park continued to expand and evolve over the years, adding new attractions, shows, and facilities. In 1996, the park was renamed "Everland" to reflect its transformati

Potato Bau Jang Kalguksu, a famous restaurant in Gangneung.

After my trip to the East Sea, I came up to take the Seoul Yangyang Expressway, and I was hungry, so I stopped by Gangneung to eat Jangkalguksu, which is famous in Gangneung. Since it is located in Geumseong-ro, downtown Gangneung, there is no separate parking lot, but I parked next to the road while looking at the atmosphere. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and you have to go up through a small entrance. If you go up, the restaurant is bigger than you think. The restaurant is not a sophisticated interior. It's said to be a 40-year-old tradition, and it's a good atmosphere. The kitchen is an open kitchen inside. Representative menu and price (cost-effectiveness) There are a variety of menus, and the representative menus are potato ongshimi , jangkalguksu , and potato pancake . ![Images/njo2_20221217_185656-01.jpeg) Food I've tried We ordered Jang Kalguksu and Potato Pancake. When you order, you put the mixed gourd and radish salad in a jar. You can eat as mu

[Gonjiam Restaurant] Yukkal (Yukgaejang Kalguksu) and Dongdong Noodles with delicious meat pancakes.

I went to Yes Park, a ceramic art village in Icheon, and went to Dongdong Noodles restaurant in Gonjiam because I was hungry. Dongdong Noodles is a famous restaurant for Yukgaejang+Kalguksu , and it is said that Gonjiam is the main store . (But it's a little strange that this place is Original Choi Mi-jja-meori gukbap on Naver Map.) Representative menu and price (cost-effectiveness) Dongdong Noodles' main menu is Yukkal , which consists of Yukgaejang + Kalguksu + Rice. Food I've tried We ordered Yuk-Kal, beef meat pancake, dumplings (meat, kimchi) . If you order, you will get kimchi, kkakdugi, radish kimchi. The side dishes are generally neat and taste good. It says that you make kimchi yourself, but it tastes really good. Finally, we have a Yuk-Kal. It is a combination of boiled noodles and rice with Yukgaejang and Kalguksu. The torn meat looks delicious The soup is also spicy and delicious. First, I put kalguksu in Yukgaejang and roll it and eat it. You can

[Jeju trip] Jungmun Cheonjeyeon Falls, one of the top three waterfalls in Jeju Island.

Image
After visiting Cheonjiyeon Falls, Jeongbang Falls, and Cheonjeyeon Falls, I visited all three major waterfalls **Jeju Island. What is this... It's nothing, but I'm proud. (Laughing) If Cheonjiyeon Falls and Jeongbang Falls are located in downtown Seogwipo, Cheonjeyeon Falls is located in the Jungmun Tourist Complex, which is a little far away. Cheonjeyeon Falls itself consists of the first, second, and third waterfalls. There are two ways to see Cheonjeyeon Falls, and there is a way to park at Yeomiji Botanical Garden and cross the senior bridge to see it, and there is a way to park in the parking lot of Cheonjeyeon Falls. We parked in the parking lot of Cheonjeyeon Falls and looked around. The parking lot is spacious and free of charge. Parking is free, but there is a separate entrance fee. ** 2,500 won for adults** and 1,350 won for children and teenagers. It's 500 won more expensive than Cheonjiyeon and Jeongbang Falls because it's in the tourist complex. Hah!

[Jeju trip] The only waterfall in Korea that falls directly into the sea of Seogwipo

Image
I came out of Saeyeon Bridge and went to Jeongbang Falls. Jeongbang Falls in Seogwipo is one of the three major waterfalls in Jeju Island along with Cheonjiyeon Falls and Cheonjeyeon Falls. It is said to be the only waterfall in Korea that falls directly into the sea. Parking in the parking lot and ticketing first. The price is 2,000 won per adult, the same as Cheonjiyeon Falls. At night, there is no light, so you can only enter until 17:40 and you cannot enter after that. Since the waterfall is down, you have to go down the stairs from the entrance. You can see Jeongbang Falls in harmony with old pine trees in front of the way down. The waterfall is falling right into the sea. Go down the narrow stairs. There's a checkpoint on the way down. When you come up, you have to follow the same road in the middle, but if there are many people, the stairs are narrow, so it may be dangerous. There's a notice telling me to watch out for snakes, but the snake is drawn so cute that

[Jeju trip] Saeyeon Bridge where you could go to Seogwipo Saeseom Island.

Cheonjiyeon Falls and Saeyeon Bridge are close by. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot of Cheonjiyeon Falls, so if you have enough time, you can walk there. If it's hard to walk, there's a parking lot in front of Saeyeon Bridge, so you can move by car. a new bridge Saeyeon Bridge is a bridge that connects to Saeseom Park. The motif is Teu, a traditional ship of Jeju. Saeyeongyo Bridge is connected to Saeseom Island above and to the square under the bridge below, so there is a space to rest even in the hot summer sun. Most of all, you can see the cool side at night with the lights on. After passing Saeyeon Bridge, you could enter Saseom Park, but now the Saseom Dulle-gil is damaged and blocked due to the typhoon. So you can't go into the new island and you have to turn back at the end of the bridge. If the new island is restored over time, you will have a chance to walk to the new. The new bridge also has a fairly large resting area under the bridg

[Jeju trip] Cheonjiyeon Falls, a good place to take a walk in the middle of Seogwipo

It's my first day in Seogwipo. We stayed at Jink Hotel located close to Cheonjiyeon Falls. I won't post it separately, but it's not a bad cost-effective hotel. I left the hotel around 9 a.m. and headed to Cheonjiyeon Falls. If you walk for about 10 minutes, you will find the ticket office. The entrance to Cheonjiyeon Falls is not free. Admission is 2,000 won per **person. There are also various conditions for free admission, so please check carefully. There are two of us, so we paid 4,000 won to enter. If you go about 50m, you will find a bridge with a stone statue hanging on your back. If you cross this bridge, you can go to Cheonjiyeon Falls. If you cross the bridge, you will find Cheonjiyeon Rest Area where you can buy souvenirs right in front of you. After passing the Cheonjiyeon Rest Area, you will see a wonderful waterfall in front of you as if you are walking about 500m. I took a picture at the Cheonjiyeon sign, the national rule of the proof shot, and sat on
